Pool Hawk to pair up victories by winning the College Causeway Killahan Phanter 600 Final at Shelbourne Park

The College Causeway Killahan Phanter 600 Final will get staged at Shelbourne Park over 600 yards flat on Saturday, 14th April. Taking part in the race that carries €1000 prize money are Fastaway King, Heady Days, Barefoot Machine, Oneco Cool,
Future Boy and Pool Hawk.
The most promising entry for the race is Pool Hawk, Westmead Hawk’s four-year-old black son out of b***h, Blue Sapphire, as he has kept up with a pretty consistent performance through the last five races. While bagging the victories, he struck a hat trick.
The four-year-old has been active nine times during the season and has won five outings out of those. On 3rd March, Pool Hawk won the Grade A1 Wednesday Night Racing Is Back A1 575 at Shelbourne Park by completing the trip in 31.60 seconds.
He led the runner up of the race, Rockchase Zico, by four lengths. He timed the distance in 31.92 seconds.
Settling third behind the winner was Glenanore.
The 7/4 favourite of the race, Mccarthys Bridge, ended fourth.
The second leg of the hat trick was in the Grade A1 Sis A1 575 at Shelbourne Park on 10th March. The 7/4 favourite winner of the race, Pool Hawk, clocked the track distance in 31.60 seconds.
Joining the winner after covering the ¾ of the length, was the runner up, Olympic Rockstar, who took 31.66 seconds to race through the wire.
Leaping on for the third position after the winner was Glenanore.
On 17th March, in Grade A1 Paddys Day A1 575, Pool Hawk secured the hat trick. He reached the other end of the wire in 31.71 seconds and took charge of the final seven and a half lengths. He was soon joined by Walk On Fire and following right
behind was Big Momma Pumpin.
Pool Hawk then scored second in the Paddy Power Open 600 on 31st March at Shelbourne Park. The race was won by the 7/4 favourite of the race, Lisnakill Jack, while Pool Hawk took 32.93 seconds to end the race.
Last time that he won was in the College Causeway Killahan Phanter 600 Semi-Final on 7th April at Shelbourne Park by timing the distance in 32.84 seconds.
He has quite high chances of bagging the race tonight.
