Pool Heater Problem.!.!?

My pool heater pilot light is on, gas is getting to the heater but will not come on, wants wrong?

They can be several things.

First some pool heaters have flow switch - to detect water flow.

Check if the water flow is lower because of dirty filter or debris in pump baskets.

Or it might be the flow switch too.

If this doesn't help, check if their is 24 Volts coming to your gas valve.

If yes - the problem is with the valve /sometimes if you hit it gently will open/

If you don't have 24 Volts to the gas valve - their is a problem with your control board or some safety controls, like the flow switch.
