For me definitely Lake. You can jump off cliffs, go wakeboarding, boating and its just too much fun. No way you can do that in a pool filled with unnatural chemicals!

what are youa sking for what are you going to do? I perfer the river over lake and pool but we need more details

I enjoy all, but especially being in my kayak on a river (did the Chama just last weekend) and being at lakes.

Lakes and Rivers = Snakes (and sometimes leeches)

Pools = Chemicals (and in the case of public pools, snakes and leeches posing as humans.  LOL)

IMHO the best are the pools with salt water instead of chlorine.  

(I think that's what you were asking, right?)

the funest is rivers or lakes ( more space , sometimes a waterfall=])

put the pool is more safe
