Question:

Pool Maintenance?

I just got my pools pH level down to around 7.4. What should I add next? There is a ton of algae. Should I brush the sides and bottom of the pool and use algaecide or should I shock it first. I'm a little concerned about the amount of chemicals because there is already a gallon of muriatic acid in it from yesterday, when the pH was balanced. What step should I take next?
