  1. If you weigh 90 LBS your splash will go some where between 4 and 5 feet high. If you jump in the center of the pool you will lose around1.2 gallons of water. for every 2.3 feet you jump closer to the edge you will lose an extra .5 gallons of water.

  2. umm...

    idk (-_-')

  3. You will displace at least 10.83 gallons, assuming that you fully submerge in water, and the density of your body is same as water (actually it is less). That's if we consider just the Archimedes law. Now if you take into account the force with which you jump in - it will likely be more than that.

  4. If this is a math riddle, to solve it you'd have to find the missing piece(s) of information.  My guess is that what's missing is the speed and height of a cannon ball made by a person weighing ninety pounds.  I'm thinking once you gather those bits of information you'll be able to create a problem on paper.  Either way, f4ways's answer sounds excellent!  Thanks for the puzzle!

  5. completely agree with f4way
