Pool cable network?

Question

Studies have shown that on average, over 40 million Americans play pool at least once per year, over twice the number that play golf. Yet, golf has it's own cable network. Pool is a year-round activity and far more affordable and accessible to the average person. What reasons can you come up with why it's so hard to find decent pool coverage on cable TV. Yes, I know that there are matches scattered here and there, but they generally tend to be few and far between and nearly always featuring the same game with the same players. Why can't there be a 24/7 network with pool programming? There could be classic matches from the 50's to the present. There could be instructional programs. There could be infomercials for different pool suppliers and their merchandise. I'm sure I'm just scratching the surface. Would you agree that there is a real demand and interest in this game?

I dont think we ever truly lost the stigma of undesirables and smoke filled poolhalls they still look at us like a floating c**p game

we could use some good pr would help. The ladies are helping but its the karen and allison hour for so long i dont mind missing it sometimes

maybe more activity on our part more tourn maybe were just not worth the effort for mass media coverage yet some people live and breath skydiving but you hardly ever see media coverage on it

Maybe its time we steped a little closer to the light so people can see us then they just might get interested AGAIN they all know who won the super bowl ill bet Joe Average hasent even heard of most or any of our functions,They all jump up and cheer a 70 yd touch down so do I but they wouldnt even notice a 4 rail combo. its late im starting to ramble but but we just have to get noticed .

if they will remember the almost best ratings they ever had was when Willie and Fats played on wide world of sports now that ive sounded off its somebody elses turn
