  1. The Sports Bar in Sauchiehall Street. There are loads of other decent pubs nearby there too, and a few clubs.

  2. try the strathclyde student union

  3. Don't go to a pool hall. go see a movie with dinner afterwards.

  4. A pool hall?  Are you sure that's what she wants to do on her date?

  5. the sports cafe on sauchiehall street is the most decent place in glasgow i would say for pool.it is big american tables (easy for the girl to pot lol) and there are plenty of tables.

  6. springfield quay bowling and pool

  7. My favourite is Reardons in Shawlands (South side).  It's on Kilmarnock Road, very easy to find.  There are about 30 pool tables to rent, plus a couple of separate rooms for snooker.  Everything is well kept and in good working order, plus they are open late (Till 2 in the morning on weekends).  Good bar and digital jukebox so music is good too.  It's like £6 and hour for a table, and you pay a £10 deposit which you get back.  I havent been for a while but last few times I went it was almost ned - free.  Good for going to with group of mates or with girlfriend, plus there are kebab shops nearby!  When you first visit, you pay an extra £2 and they give you a wee membership card for next time you visit.
