Pool party colors: pink and orange or blue and green?!!?

Question

I'm having a 13th birthday pool party this year in the summer. In August. I'm trying to decide on a color theme because I don't want a luau theme or anything else. I want it to be simple since I can't get that many decorations (not my pool). So I decided on a color theme. I can't decide either on PINK AND ORANGE or BLUE AND GREEN. I need your help on deciding. So pick the pair you like the most and list the pros. Thanks in advance!

Blue and green...pink and orange clash...Also, blue and green will compliment the color of the chlorine!

Pink and Orange gives off the vibe of fun and fiesta. Blue and Green would be more of a reunion or small gathering kind of colors. I think the bright, summer colors would attract people more. Its hot.

My favorite colors are blue and green, but orange and pink seem to fit more with summery and august and just pick what you like better.

blue and green reminds me of ocean water a bit.

pink and orange is more summery, but also has an easter feel (depending on the shades of the color). but i say go for pink and orange.

Pink and Orange for Sure. Blue and Green are nice but Pink and Orange are vibrant and fun! You already have the blue color of the water and blue of the sky. U need some brights to cheer everyone up! I absolutly love the combo.
