So my son will be turning 4 in December. His daycare has an indoor inground pool. This pool is appropriate for children his age and 2-3 life guards will be attending as well as all parents. All safety measures will be taken.

I'm looking for creative ideas and themes because most pool parties are not in the middle of winter.

  1. Luckily, you'll have lots of time to plan.  Seriously, though, a bunch of 4 year olds in a pool sound like party enough.  Just do whatever you would have done for an outside pool party.

  2. I've seen lots of decorative items with Santa in Hawaiian shirts, on a surfboard, or lounging by the ocean:)  ...So, you could do a Santa on Vacation theme:)  ... and I've seen pink flamingos with Santa hats, etc....  They might be hard to find now, but should show up in stores, on-line in the Fall.....

  3. At that age... a pool, games and food are not a good mix. I would consider someting like Chucky Cheese, etc. instead.

  4. do the whole beach theme....  fill a few wading pools with sand, like a sandbox with the pails and shovels, have a few tables with umbrellas, beachballs, summer colored plastic dishware, hotdogs, hamburgers, mac salad, potato salad, baked beans... sounds like alot of fun....

  5. How about a nice heater?

  6. dose you son like any movies that you can kind of plan the theam to that
