  1. It's a ghost-ball. That's cool, Johnny.

  2. Question has been asked before.....in coin opereated tables the cue ball actually weighs more then the others.....so as to trip some sort of slot or gate to let it back out....this makes the action of the cue ball a little different and makes for some adjustment on your shots to allow for this....yes, it weighs more then the others to allow you to keep playing your game and not have to come up with some more money to get it back.

  3. i dont know

  4. The cue-ball is slightly bigger than all the other balls, that's the only difference. When it's rolling along the inside rails it cannot fit into the slots where the other pool balls go so it takes a different route.

  5. ITs a ghost ball !!! or they are right there are diff systs mine have a metal core with a magnet on the track

  6. it's smaller.

  7. There are several types of cueballs.  There are magnetic tables with a metal core in the cueball, and there are larger cue balls in the older tables (Mud-Ball).

  8. You are referring to coin-operated tables I think.

The cue ball is different. Some have a magnet inside so when it drops it rolls down to the slot and is pulled into the return slot... whereas the regular playing balls are just that... regular.

Some cue balls are over-size. They trip a lever that returns them to the return slot.

And, you are correct, some are slightly heavier.

    Hope this is helpful.
