  1. OK bill I will come back to answer you

Simonis 860 if its your table you may as well have the best"Cloth" for it

Gonna try to get your way in may its just been a H of a year so far

  2. I suggest you consult a professional representative of a known retailer of pool tables. You may not want to pay the price of a top-of-the-line felt if your table is not high quality.

The quality of felt and "cushioning" is paramount to the "table play" of your table.

  3. You may not necessarily want the best cloth depending on your circumstances. Do children use the table? Drunk friends that are just bangers? Do you only play at home or is this where you practice for tournaments?

You may only need a basic felt such as Mali brand. It's good quality and durable.

Someone mentioned Simonis. It's great felt but.....It's gonna cost you more than double standard felts. It plays SUPER FAST. Your speed control is going to be all messed up if you have to play on slow felt some of the time, like perhaps a pool league player would. Bar tables are generally slow speed felt.

Play on a Simonis covered table first if you haven't already.

Also if your a serious player you will get green felt (blue is acceptable) no reds or other unatural table colors.

  4. Simonis is the best to have, also, are you an average, good, or better player>?  Are you a league player?  Thinking of getting better?  IF you are a better than average player, Simonis is the way to go, fast long lasting for a serious player .... if you are an occasional player who also lets the kids tear it up on the table, you would want a heavier "fuzzier" felt that is more durable to abuse, but will not give you nearly the action that a good player wishes to have.  I have also found that if you are a league player, try to match what you have in your area (unless they are terrible and you want to get better)  I have also found that Championship is not too bad, comes close to Simonis 860 but is a bit cheaper....
