Pool table that doubles as a table?

Question

ok I'm trying to find a pool table that can be changed to a dinning room table. I want a table like this because my husband and I both want a pool table but only have enough room were our dinning room is. The table we currently have will not fit in to another room so we would like a pool table table.

I saw that on the old Beverly Hillbillies,and haven't seen one since. That doesn't mean one doesn't exist,though. Good Luck to you in finding one.

There are foam inserts that you can purchase that fit down into the playing surface of the table to make a level surface.  Also, as was mentioned, custom table tops with a lip that fits into the cushions is another route.  Just go to any major website for pool table manufacturers or your local billiards supply store for suggestions.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

I don't know, but if you do not find one, it seems that it would be easy enough to make a table top that had a rim that fit just inside the rim of a pool table. then you could pick pretty much any pool table that you wanted. There are some that have really pretty legs and would look nice enough for  dining.

I bought one for my husband for Christmas a few years ago.  Although, it's not elegant.  It's basically a sheet of plywood with a pin pong table on one side, and laminated wood grain finish on the other side, that you lay on top of the pool table.  I would never use it for dining at, but it makes a nice buffet table or to pile c**p on.
