Thanks for asking. No liner does not feel slippery.

But the water is not looking as clear. We did have a big storm earlier in week. Maybe something to do with phosphate level, im not familiar with this.

  1. Try a liquid clarifier.

Chemicals always get off balance after a heavy rain.

Always best to take to pool store for testing, when in doubt.

  2. It could be any type of oganic matter clouding the pool. It's hard to say exactly what the problem is, but you could take a sample to your local pool store for testing, but if you would rather not, a good old fashioned shocking would do the trick. Get your pH in the normal range and dump in several gallons of chlorine. I don't know how big your pool is, but at 24' round would take about 4 gallons to do an effective job. Wait 24 hours and adjust the pH accordingly to get it back in the normal range (the shock will raise the pH generally). Hopefully that kill anything clouding the water! Good luck!

  3. it could be you did not mention if it felt slick before brushing so i am not sure need more info
