Pool water is turning green?

okay, my pool is turning green, and when i did a water test on it, my chlorine level says 3.0, my bromine level says 6.5 and my PH level says below 6.8 what does all that mean and what do i need to add and how much of it? thanks! it's an above ground intex vinyl pool, 15 foot around and 36 inches deep.

  1. I had the same problem last year.

    The pump they give you is not good enough.

    Buy a bigger one.


  2. your chlorine could be a little higher, depending on if anybody in your house has sensitive skin. the pH level should be lower because the water in your pool now would be really dangerous to swim in. can help you on your bromine level. not sure what to do there. if you keep the cover on your pool at night and when your not using it, that could prevent the algae and clean the whole pool regularly.
