Pooping bacteria on eyelashes?

My bro said that his TEACHER told him that there are thousands of small bugs constantly pooping on your eyelashes. is this true?

The beast is Demodex follicularum. They live in the base of your eyelashes and usually don't cause a problem, but if they do, there are treatments to get rid of them.

Well... I read in my textbook once that there a thousands of tiny spider-like creatures crawling around your eyebrows and eyelashes. It could be the same thing... really not sure. :)
