I know she is better than Milka, but she hardly gets press...if she had the sponsers $$$ would she be winning or at least doing as well as Danica

Is she out of cash

  1. WE will never know unless Sarah gets a good car and a good team under her. I would love to see her win a race. She was a top favorite till Danica came onto the scene , She still has a loyal following of fans. She just has never had the backing or equipment the other drivers have.

  2. Danica has always been in much better equipment than Sarah, I'd love to see Sarah in a Penske or Ganassi or AGR car, then we could see her real talent.. Sarah is a great gal, she had a great finish at Indy one time...For once I'd really like to see her win a race.. She has a sponsor for a couple races, lets all hope she has super races. Yes Sarah is 100% better than Milka, but then heck I could get out there and do better than Milka..

    Go Helio

  3. I think she is a much better driver than Danica.  No doubt about that in my mind whatsoever.  Danica has made many errors out there and is quite simply a danger to herself and the entire field every time that car leaves the garage.

I said garage because she is a danger on pit road just the same.

  4. In my mind, Danica is a better driver than Sarah.  Having said that I much prefer Sarah, and I would much prefer her as the top female driver.  I think that Danica has serious issues in her attitude to fans and drivers, whilst Sarah and Milka have got that sorted.  In a perfect world Sarah would be winning instead of Danica, but Danica is more marketable than Sarah unfortunately.  Thats the way the cookie crumbles!

  5. better than Danica Patrick

  6. They have different driving style.  When it comes to crashing cars, Sarah Fisher crash more cars than Danica. Sarah I find more of an aggreesive driver than Danica who is aggressive and yet cautious. Both competed briefly with each other (also with Sam Hornish, jr) at cart race.

Sarah came to Indycar ahead of Danica At that time Danica is in england competeing in formula ford. Sarah did well highest placing (in a race) was second but wasn't as successful as Danica overall  performance wise. She left for NASCAR. Her NASCAR move wasn't a success performance and sponsor wise. She went back to indycar under D&R. Danica may have only one win at this time but if you look at her overall stat she is very consistent. Her rookie year overall standing is I think 11 or 12. After her rookie year she never went out of the top 10 in overall standing.

I don't know if Sarah left D&R or she was drop/release in favor of Milka Duno. Milka has Citgo under her wing.

Sarah (driver/owner) sort of run out of cash. The sponsors who suppose to give her $$ for the Indy 500 run didn't send out their check. at the last minute she got a sponsor but unfortunately she got involve in a crash with tony kanaan halfway through.

sarah got a sponsor and she will be back for 2 race more this year. I'm not sure which race she will be in. I'm sure that will be an oval race.

go to www.indycar.com (official site of indycar series). They have an article about Sarah Fisher and the new sponsor.

  7. i'm a big fan of danica but sarah is probably better. i feel bad for sarah fisher because at the indy 500 when she wrecked she was crying because she has to pay for everything when she wrecks.

  8. No, she isn't a better driver.  She may have had the potential to be the better driver, but once she got into the ICS her ability to get a good race setup seemed to plateau.  She had some very good results before the CART/CC teams came over with their engineering knowledge, but once they were in she slipped quickly.

A typical race for her went like this: she would qualify reasonably well, then when the green flag flew she would slide to the back.  After complaining about the handling, she would either retire or run at or near the back of the field.  If she had taken a year or two in the Atlantics she might have developped a better sense of how to setup the car.  Unfortunately the jump from the midgets and sprints she raced early in her career to the ICS is a lot harder than most people realize.
