Women play only best of 3.It shouldn't be a problem unless she really doesn't have any stamina.She can do like Rafa. Win in straight sets, which will mean only 6 sets for her.

Its surprising that she is the one of the only few to suffer like this!

But still her first round match was a disaster!She did not ply well at all!

Her next round match was a bit better but nevertheless it was not GREAT!

She must be knowing that as she proceeds further she will have even more tougher players to play who are not inconsistent and not those who do not grab opportunities nor those who are nervous playing at such a level with the world number one. Still if she , a determined player can survive through scares, then she might have a chance

Safina might upset her in the 4th round.  Even if she survive, either kuznetsova or dementieva or maybe zvonareva or even azarenka would worn her down before she could get through the semifinal.  All these player are better clay courter than she is.  My prediction - she won't win roland garros this year but maybe a couple more years to come since her performance is improving on the surface.

I think she probably could but right now she's struggling with her serve.  In one of her other matches she served 17 double faults.

saw her nearly lose the first round game, she doesn't look comfortable on Clay, she likes to finish of her opponents quick but she can't because on Clay the Pace is slower than grass and hard court

the only threat i see is dinara safina.. who won the berlin title recently... but with the match against knapp... things are looking good with sharapova... i want to see sharapova ivanovic final here...

I think it's too early to tell how far she is going. She is playing so a lot of back to back matches because the rain delay messed up the schedule since Day 2. She's been playing three-sets in her first and second round match already. we'll have to see how she does in the next and later rounds.
