Ray Emery has been placed on waivers and could have his contract brought out if no one picks him up within 2 days from when he was put on waivers.

  1. I'd hate having Emery on the ducks. LA would probably try to take him though, they never seem to know how to chose goalies. PS: LA sucks (sorry queen fans)

  3. Well Emery has shot himself in the foot w/ his antics. It would serve him right to be shunned by all the teams.

    NIPS is right though, if he were in the NFL the Cowboys would pick him up. But the Stars are a MUCH classier organization than the Cowboys.

  7. L.A. should definetely get ray emery his a decent goaltender and with him on their team they coudl for sure make it to the playoffs

  8. Well, right now.... we are finding out how much "ACTIONS speak louder than words"..... if this was the NFL he would have been claimed already. Glad to see the NHL owners have some class.

  10. no way do i want him on my team (avalanche) but i can think of a few teams with poor goaltending that should look into picking him up becuse when he is on his game and being team player he is a pretty good goalie.

  11. NO WAY! I would totally have a fit if my team, the Avs got him. I'm not crazy for Theodore, and it looks like he's gonna be back, but I'd take him any day over Ray Emery.

    but my team the sharks already has a good enough goalie ;) probably one of the best goalies in the league.

    & the pens have enough goalies.

  13. This is his fault... He acted unsportsman like and didnt act like a part of a TEAM so he won't be part of a TEAM... He isnt that good of a goalie that he can act up and show up to practice late... IMO he brought this on himself

  14. No, Emery's more trouble than he's worth.  Besides, the Wings need to get Jimmy Howard some time up in the big show to see if he can be a competent NHL goalie once Osgood decides to retire.

    hes proved to be a good goaltender and i believe nj, lou and their coaching staff would be able to straighten him out. so yeah id be fine seeing emery in a devils sweater

  17. to be honest... I would take Emery in Atlanta, and trade Lethonen to LA for some players. You can also count on Lethonen to have a pulled groin at sometime during the year. Emery is a good tender, just bad attitude. If he can fix that i would have no problem with him on my team. He did take Ottawa to the cup finals, give him some credit

    But no, the pens already have too many goalies. lol

  19. Putting Emery in my 2 fav (Oil and Pens) teams would cause a DISASTER WARNING. Didn't you see what he did in Ottawa? He thought he was all that and caused chemistry problems. NOBODY WANTS THAT.  Ottawa did a good thing in getting rid of him. as for the Oil and Pens, Ty conklin and Fleury are good enough for the pens, and Garon and Roli are pretty good too.
