  1. its better den pitching for the A's

  2. Marlins had good pitching and timely hitting but Harden had no run support so yes I do feel bad for him.

  3. It's a slump.  It happens to every team throughout the year.  It just happens the Cubs are going into their slump when the Brewers are playing their hottest.  We'll just need to hope for the Cubs to sweep or take 3-4 against the Brewers in their upcoming series.  What is sad is that the Cubs struck out 20 today and somehow couldn't hold the Marlins off.  I'm with A-rod's bro though, it's better then pitching for the A's.

  4. HE'S ONLY PITCHED THREE GAMES. When the Cubs haven't given him run support for 8 or 9 games, come talk to me.

  5. Piniella is babying that injury prone arm of his. Five innings and 87 pitches is a joke.

  6. harden has pitched incrediblly, unfortunately he has pitched on days that the cubs bats have had the day off. he will eventully break through into the win column very soon though. you can't tell me that the starting line-up doesn't feel bad about the lack of run support and will pick it up in his next time out. you heard it here first.

  7. At least your team is in the hunt.

They have the offense to score an average of 6 runs a game.

Why do they do bad against good teams, and bad against bad teams?

For example, they took 2 of 3 from the last cubs series. Right after that series they got swept by the Pirates. Now in Milwaulkee they have won the 1st game of that series.

It doesn't make sense. Why cant they do that all the time?

  8. Cubs cubs are going to win the world series

  9. The Chicago Cubs yeah they may have a .5 game lead in the division, but I feel that looking at their performance the past few weeks, this is the worst team in baseball. I'm afriad that if the offense can not score runs more consistantly, not only the cubs will lose the division but the Cubs could have the third best record in the National League and still not make the playoffs. And have the humiliation of having to go 100 years without a championship.

This is getting old.. if I have to say wait till next year again I'm never going to watch a single baseball game ever.

  10. I would have to agree with, in all these games he has pitched so far, he has yet to win a game with the Chicago Cubs, and while this is going on, in Milwakee, you have CC Sabathia that has yet to give up a run, or even lose a game, just to throw some water on the fire. You will wonder if he will ever win a game with the Chicago Cubs, I know that he wasn't going to win every game, but not like this.
