No t.v. coverage means prize-money comes from entry fee only. The number of people entering,and the number of places paid then decides the prize-money.

Snooker is higher paid.It gets t.v. coverage.So it gets money from the t.v. company and also sponsorship from companies that want to get their adverts on t.v.

you may be right in a pub situation but world chamionships and so forth are very well off try emailing these site as a snooker play I found pretty good and know of world class snooker players
