Question:

Poor service at local furniture store. Is it worth it to complain?

We were prepared to make a large purchase today at a furniture store. They were having a good financing deal. The guy we originally dealt with was sick today so another guy "helped" us. He was ridiculously rude. As we were sitting there getting pre-approved for financing, we heard the other staff talking badly about customers (and we think about us!). We were not rude at all. I used to work in retail and am very pleasant. After feeling sick to my stomach about the situation and lack of customer service, we decided to cancel the transaction and left. My fiance wants to call and rip into the manager about how horrible the experience was. I don't think it will make a difference. Should he tell them? I was so upset after leaving. They were so rude.

  1. If they work on the commission YAY you got him in the pocketbook where it belongs.

It sure wouldn't hurt to call up the manager (let's hope one of those people there commiserating weren't the manager)

and let him know in a calm way... Jut say oh by the way they lost this sale, therefore so did you. Just thought you would want to know.
