Poor verizon repair after storm

Question

Called verizon on Sunday am, informed them i had no service. badly need the phone due to mother with cancer and under hospice care. They said wed. originally now state won't get any service until Aug 4th. Better business bureau. local congress rep or do I notify FCC which says they have to provide a clear communication system.

They are not just ignoring you.  It could take til the 4th for the repair to happen.

Depending on the damage repairs can take a while.

Don't get vengeful and go reporting to everyone.  Sounds like you are perhaps in a rural area.  They are obligated by law to repair ASAP.

They will repair the largest outage area first and then work their way out.
