  1. click on start > run

    type msconfig

    press ok

    click on startup tab

expand the middle column so that you can read the entire path

    read all the entries listed

    uncheck the doubtful entries

uncheck anything that does not begin with

    c:\program files

    click on apply

    click on close

    restart the computer

after reboot a windows pops up, check in it and close it

    that's all

  2. Go to http://www.popup-remover.com

I use that program. It works very well.

Block pop-up ads and remove spyware .

  3. Do you have a pop up blocker turned on. most upper web tool bars have a pop up blocker. try yahoo bar!

If it is Antivira then i doubt its malicious, just annoying right.!

The best program by far which i use for killing "spyware" and additional programs which have obviouslly attached themselves to your Pc is

Adaware (www.Adware-2009.com) its free! so dont pay for it!

In addition to this i use CCleaner which is also free from file hippo

www.filehippo.com this will clean your pc down after you have run Adaware. My Pc runs like a dream most of the time and i get no c**p on it either!

    good luck!

  4. Never use free scans off the web, never use free registry cleans, they all use false positives to con you into buying them. You can try to stop them by going to tools/pop up blocker, but you will probably find these are in deep---dll,s.You could try by using ADVANCED WINDOWS CARE V3 BETA--FROM IOBIT.COM..You can access and disable your start up programs from this program as well.

  5. Try to use a different anto spyware. You can find reviews and information on anti spywares at the link below.

  6. Ok Patricia, please try two programs from the same company.Rogue remover  and Malwarebytes Anti malware ( both free ) Excellent programs. What you have are not pop ups as such, but pop ups caused by the malware on your pc.

    Best of luck.

Ps remember to update before scanning.
