Pop Ups when not on the web????

Question

ive been getting these pop ups but no ones on the computer

and the internet isn't on or anything...

why do they persist with out the internet???

what can be done to stop them?

etc...

in the bottom right hand corner near the clock, close out the open items, but leave open the anti spy & such. you may not be on the web, but your computer might be

Get rid of the virus you have.

Popups, on, OR Off-web are almost always due to viruses.

Try Spybot Search and Destroy from http://www.safer-networking.org  it should be able to fix the problem.  After it's cleaned up, use the IMMUNIZE funciton in spybot to add some more protection.

Get a GOOD antivirus to prevent the problem in the future.  I personally recommend NOD32 from http://www.eset.com as the best, but if you must have free, try Avira from http://www.free-av.com

If you access the internet through a cable modem, you are ALWAYS connected to the internet.

you should download/buy an anti virus program 2 help and warn you

it can tell how many documents/files should be checked to see if there is

a virus

You have been infected with spyware.  Either someone's been looking at p**n or downloading things that come with spyware.  Spybot Search and Destroy will get rid of some and so will adaware. You can get these programs free.

download malware bytes and then advanced windows care 2 personal run them both and it should be sorted
