Pop culture during the 1960s?

I was wondering if anyone could recommend me books and movies that can be defined as hippy or anything 1960s. Books-anything that is fiction that was written during the era and that a hippy would read. Movies-anything from the 60s or relating to the hippy way.

The book / movie Valley of the Dolls was popular then. VH1 has a few specials relating to that era, try and see if you could watch "The Drug Years." Apparently when I think hippy, I think drugs!
