Pop songs to play for friends?

Question

I play professionally in an almost signed band around LA, but for encores etc and just when i'm chilling with my friends, I like to play pop songs, especially on the acoustic whether or not they are acoustic songs to begin with. I need more example of some famous and catchy songs that everyone loves to sing along with whether they like the song or not. Some examples of songs i play are:

All blink 182 songs

Michelle Branch: Everywhere; All you wanted

Oasis: Wonderwall; champagne supernova

Goo Goo Dolls: Iris, Slide

Green Day: All songs

Beatles: All songs

Avril lavigne: all the popular songs

Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: See you again; rockstar

Jonas Brothers: Year 3000, SOS, I wanna be like you, Gotta find you and others

Rhianna: Umbrella

Pussycat dolls: Stickwitu

Fergie: Big girls don't cry

Yellowcard: Ocean Avenue

Old 97s: Question

Don Mclean: American Pie

and alot of other pop songs.

any more recomendations? if we were all siting in a circle, what would you want to sing along to?

It's not exactly the kind of Music you have in your list already, but I do think that it might be FUN to 'weave' it in:

How about 'Newyork' from Sinatra, (in general any 'city' or 'location' in a song will do, like 'Chicago', or you can even find (Fats Domino's) thrill in 'Blue Berry Hill' if you like, or would you prefer to use 'Walk On'...,

Also a lot of the oldy 'Rolling Stones' songs usually are sure 'Floorfillers'.

Anyways, ok,

I'd say Colbie Callit songs,

"This is real, This is me" by Demi Lovato,

"I miss you" by Miley

Maybe some Maraih carrey songs?

And more JB songs.

Not cause I like them,

But the guitar songs are good.

This might sound silly, but that Katy Perry song, "I Kissed a Girl." The song is just SO catchy I can't help but want to sing it. I play it all the time and everyone sings along--even if they don't like it at first they eventually do!

Also, this isn't really pop, but Ben Folds did an acoustic cover of "b*****s Ain't ****" and it is seriously amazing. If you sang that acoustic you would have people cracking up.
