Pop up keeps coming back?

Something has been implanted on my computer. My firewall picked up 2 trojans and deleted. For some reason a sneaky pop up appeared and I tried to close it, well I clicked the wrong x and now I have this pop up with freaky ads. I scanned my computer with Spybot Search & Destroy, Avira Antivirus Personal and Pest Control. It picked and destroyed virus and other junk. So the next day that crazy pop-up shows up again! So I download Ad-Aware 2008 recommending by C-Net, it picked up additional c**p the other ones missed and fixed some other stuff.

The thing is the pop-up add still comes up, execpt its now missing the ad. Its a blank pop-up, and it just says advertisement on the header. It seems Ad-Aware did not completely remove it.

How do I get rid of it?

You've run a lot of scans; do the following:

boot in safe mode & run Avira - if this finds nothing very un likely you have a virus.

hang on - do you have any of the following on your PC:

Messenger Plus! Live? (gives CiD pop ups)

zango (makes its money from spyware (pop ups))

If you don't have these on your PC do a free online scan:
