  1. Not how to conclude but how to start.

Pass out small bags of popcorn when they are coming in and taking their seats.

End by saying you hope they enjoyed their popcorn.

  2. Hi Piggy's Oink,

Here are some (crazy?) facts about popcorn...

    1) Anthropologists found popcorn in bat caves that was 5,600 years old.

    2) The average American eats 54 quarts of popcorn a year.

    3) The ideal popping temperature to pop popcorn is 400-460 degrees Fahrenheit.

    4) 1 cup of  oil-popped popcorn = 48 calories.

    5) About 2 tablespoons of unpopped popcorn can produce a quart of popcorn for $0.25.

    6) The ideal place to store popcorn kernels is in a cool, dry cupboard.

    7) There are about 1,600 kernels in 1 cup.

    8) According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the largest popcorn ball weighed 2,000 pounds.

The link below provides a lot of interesting information.

For your closing... get a bunch of plastic bubble wrap and, before people come in for your talk, hide it close to you (maybe behind the podium or desk that you could stand at for your presentation), preferably lay it on the floor so you can step on it OR in the podium/desk so you can grab it... and when you talk is finished... start stepping on it or squeezing it (it will sound like popcorn popping) and tell people to enjoy their popcorn!

I hope this helps.  Good luck with your talk!
