West Brom’s season long loan summer signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Goran-Popov-c15165 is keen on making his loan spell into a permanent one by the end of the season.
The Macedonian international was the last of West Brom’s series of impressive summer signings. The player arrived from Dynamo Kiev during the last hours of the transfer window, and joins the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Romelu-Lukaku-c31672 and Yassine El-Ghanassy, who are also serving
a loan spell at the Hawthorns.
The loan player expressed his delight at having joined the Premier League and hopes to remain with the club beyond his season long loan spell.
The Macedonian left back completed his switch to the Hawthorns on deadline day after having seen the move delayed on account of paperwork issues and formalities.
The player is impressed by the English club, especially their flying start to the Premier League campaign. West Brom are yet to lose a match, and started their season with an impressive 3-0 win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 at home where they completely thrashed the
Merseyside team.
The club then went on to draw against Tottenham at White Hart Lane in a 1-1 score line and later hosted an impressive and in-form http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043 side at home. The Baggies were again relentless as they saw off the Toffees, winning the game 2-0 in comfortable fashion.
"I know that West Bromwich wanted me two or three years ago when I was playing in Holland," Popov told the local Birmingham media.
"When I heard they wanted me a second time I said 'this is a good chance for me to show what I can do' - I'm so happy to sign for West Bromwich."
The player is yet to play a game in West Brom colours, but hopes to feature for the side soon. Despite the allure of European football with his former club Dynamo Kiev, Popov wants to secure a permanent transfer to the Premier League. The player hailed the
quality and nature of competition of the league and added:
