how many poppy seeds does it take to affect you in a (lets say) happy manner.?

Well, let's put it this way:  There's enough poppy seeds on a bagel to skew a drug test, so that it appears you're taking heroin, morphine or any other opium poppy derivative.  That's enough to have you lose your job, and so to affect you in rather an unhappy manner, no?  Takes a lot more than that to get you high, if at all...Counsel against, especially if they drug test in your work place.

You most likely don't have opium poppies, so no amount will get you high, don't waste your time.

bout 700 grams for most ppl but if u weigh more or less the ammout differs, but if u do get that much boil them for about 30min and strain out all the water with a t shirt then let dry and eat, it dosent tase that good but u will be happy O_o

I suspect none at all.

I'm figuring the raw seed may have little effect in an unprepared state other than getting wedged irritatingly between your teeth.

Decades ago poppy seeds were liberally applied to many bread buns and poppy seeds could be bought in 1 kilo-gram packs in supermarkets for home cooking.

No-one seemed to be particularly affected.

In recent years, such packs have been prohibited from open sale (despite lack of solid unhealthy evidence) as a knee-jerk phobia that the seeds may be planted for flower harvesting or processing into illicit product. Yet I know of no case where this has ever been alleged to have happened.

I very much doubt the raw seed would have any effect.
