Robert Horry
One of the recent players who played for the Los Angeles Lakers and won the hearts of many Lakers fans was Robert Horry. Robert, known as ‘Big Shot Bob’, was cherished by fans from all around the Lakers world for the diverse and the extra edge he brought
in his game.
Robert Horry developed into complete package once he joined hands with the Los Angeles Lakers. Having the ability to make shots from everywhere on the court, Horry made more shots for the Lakers than he did during his rest of the NBA tenure.
One of the most memorable shots of his career, not only for the fans but also for himself, would be the shot that won the match for Los Angeles Lakers against their rivals of that time, the Philadelphia 76ers in play-offs. A win was almost certain for the
76ers but a late comeback keyed by Horry, won the match for Lakers. Later, at the end of the season it was Los Angeles Lakers who lifted the trophy and were crowned the champions.
This is just one instance of his illustrious career, which is full of some of the most entertaining and splendid plays that the NBA world has seen, and which is the very reason why he occupies a unique space in the hearts of Lakers fans.
Vlade Divac
Vlade Divac was one of the international players in the NBA who became very famous. At the time, it was very difficult for foreign players to survive in the NBA, but with his unique talent Vlade won the hearts of many fans. All this was despite the fact
that he didn’t even know how to speak English when he joined the Los Angeles Lakers.

Angeles Lakers biggest rivals at the time.
Keeping in mind the LeBron James transfer fiasco, one would certainly think that he wasn’t liked by the Lakers fans. However, such was the reputation that Divac earned during his days at Los Angeles, that whenever he came to visit the Staples Centre he was
appreciated and applauded by the fans as one of their own.

Derek Fisher is among some of the most popular Laker players. The thing which has made him so popular is his clutch shot. Derek Fisher is one of those players in the NBA who can play in any position when asked to. Los Angeles Lakers look at him as a very
big asset that has led them to a lot of success and will continue in doing so.
Currently leading the race to break the record for most consecutive games played, Derek Fisher is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, he is getting better and better. Thus far, the most memorable moment in his career was his winning shot with just
0.4 seconds of play left which in the end saw them win the match against the San Antonio Spurs.
He was offered to join the Miami Heat this off-season, but he refused and chose to stay with the Lakers, an act which made him all the more special in Los Angeles.
