Por-15 partial on my truck frame?

I want to paint my truck's frame with por-15 before winter hits, but I don't have the means to separate the chassis from the frame. If I coat all the exposed parts of the frame, but not the top that the chassis sits on, am I wasting my time and money or will this still help me prevent rusting for many years? Thanks for your opinions.

You are wasting your time.  You don't need to worry about your frame rusting out on you.

The frame will be the last part of the vehicle to go.  Your time would be better spent painting the rest of the truck.  If you just let it sit for a hundred years the whole truck would literally be a pile of rust sitting around the frame.
