Porcelain braces?? help?

Question

I got porcelain braces about a month ago... and this evening I ate (green) curry chicken.. shortly after i noticed my braces have a yellow tint to them. I quickly brush my teeth.. still yellow.. i brush again and again. they're still yellow..

so does anyone have any tips on how to remove the yellow, home remedies, anything!?

and will they stay yellow for the remaining time i have my braces?!!!

What u've probably stained is the LIGATURES of the braces, not the brackets themselves. The ligatures are the little "o-ring"s thingies that hold the wire in. As soon as you have your next ortho appt., he/she should change it, and u should b FINE....but until that u have to live w/ it, sry. :(

hi! I had porcelain braces for a couple years but i don't remember if that ever happened. I would try brushing with whitening toothpaste and if that doesn't help get a wash cloth and try wiping them with that. If it doesn't go away in a day or so, I would call your orthodontist and ask what to do.

you stained your o-tye.  it will be that color until you have your next ortho appt.  choose a different color of o-tye next time, like light grey.
