Pores and acting?

this is weird it's 2 questions in one!!!! LOL but first of all i have an audition for acting this weekend and i want to look really really good!!!!! So does anybody have any acting advise so i will get the job the next question is how do i make my pores disappear??? i hear rubbing ice cubes on it will make them smaller. also will it make them better if i was my face with cold water.

dress in a solid colored shirt like blue/green don't wear a bright color and when you audition make sure you don't look the castor in the eye when your not doing your slate

break a leg (not literally)

btw i take acting classes so i know that's where i get all this advice from

Most directors like it for the actors auditioning for a role dress in neutral.  This means a solid colored top and bottom.  The prefered color is black so that the director can look at you and just see your acting ability.  They want to be able to see you as the character you are acting out and not be distracted by your clothes or makeup.  It is typically frowned on to wear too much makeup, and generally the rule is eyeliner and nothing else.  This means don't worry too much about your pores, but if it really bothers you, cold water does help.  You can also you a foundation on your skin before the audition.  Good luck!

boil hot water and then put it in a bowl and put a towel over it then stick your head under the towel without getting the boiling water on your face and just let your face steam that will open your pores and then wash your face with a cleanser and rinse with cold water and you can put a wash cloth in the freezer and drape it over your face that makes them smaller and I agree minimal makeup and pretty plain clothes.
