hey i got a 1976 porsche 911 s targa and i need the torque specs because im putting the engine back in and i need to know. thx

  2. ask your Dealer for SERVICE MANUAL they wont give you any answer, the best thing  buy it. YOU need that service manual and future any way.

  3. You really need a shop manual. A Haynes manual is OK, but the factory series is a many volume set and is better than the Haynes. It is Uber Expensive and until 1989 the manuals built on one another. Meaning that if you needed something for a 1976 that was covered and didn't change since 1972, then you needed the earlier set of manuals. It is a bazaar way of doing things, but that is the way they did it...

    The Haynes 1965 thru 1989 Manual will get you thru some of it, but not a complete overhaul.
