Port Adelaide did surprise many in 2007 .?

Unfortunately the predictions of 2007 I believe will come true in 2008 - out of the 8? Will their spot be filled with Brisbane or Collingwood??

in no Particular order

Geelong, Brisbane, Collingwood, Dockers

Western Bulldogs, Port Adelaide, Carlton, Adelaide

Yes I can see Collingwood being a real force in 2008.

But I and many others saw the Bulldogs & Freo being contenders in 07, and they crashed and burned. Footy is so unpredictable, anything could happen.

Collingwood made the 8 last season, so i guess that means it's Brisbane in next season

The only people that they surprised were their followers.... who it seems thought the world would bow down and worship PA. The rest of us however could see the crash and burn coming before the season even got under way as in my opinion they were overated last year and just got lucky more than a few times along the way and the same could be wsaid about 2007.

So far as Collingwood goes... they are in there with a real chance of fighting out the grand final. They are a side that doesnt know when to give in and that attitude has got them over teams with much stronger/ more experience player groups. Their determination alone is like having a couple of extra players on the ground. I say this because take a look at the finals. Collingwood came within a kick of beating the all conquering Geelong side in a heart stopper of a game, just another couple of seconds may have seen Geelong out of the finals! I think that should be fair warning to all the other teams.
