Question:

Port Forwarding Help

I was just wondering if anyone knew why my ports weren't forwarding correctly as I want to host games on Warcraft III. I have:

1. Made a static IP

2. Gone onto my router and added 6111-6119 and my static IP onto NAT settings.

3. Added them onto my Firewall ports (TCP AND UDP)

I've scanned the port with uTorrent's port checker and it still shows it as closed. I've tried different ports using uTorrent but the program shows the yellow triangle, meaning it is not meant to be that slow (5kbs!!)

Does anyone know how to fix this or recommend any program (preferably free) I can use?

Thanks in advance.

  1. don,t know but this may help

    http://portforward.com/default.htm

  2. like someone else said

    www.portforward.com

also have you checked the windows firewall? not to mention your AV/firewall application?

  3. I am not sure if you are asking for help with WOW or uTorrent, but if it is uTorrent, then you need to choose a single port in the 49152-65534 range for uTorrent to avoid ISP blocks and possible conflicts.

This then needs to be forwarded through the firewall/router.
