We have a cuddy cabin with a top hatch only, because we spend so many night,s on this boat we would like to add some window.s on each side, but bacause their are 2 body lines about 1/2 in deep each and the contour of the side's of the top deck I'm not sure how much preasure a side lite or port lite will take before it brake's the plexiglass, I know the glass is thick but would it take a 3/4 in bend from the bottom left to the upper right? it,s more of a tweek then a bend, Im not concerned with the 2 step,s I can fill that in . just the tweek is my concern.

I will add the measrurment,s in a little while.

I would like 4" by 10" or 6" by 12"

I would like to take this time to Thank you all for being here.

  1. You can bend plexi with heat. You can seal a framed port with gasket or caulk...don't apply too much torque.

  2. A traditional brass fitting with 1/2" safety glass will withstand a solid kick. Diamond Sea Glaze sells 'em, I think.
