  1. Same to any electronic things such as mobile. If it is wet, never ever ever turn it on or touch any button. Meaning that trying not to make the circuit run.

What you have to do is make it completely dry first before turn it on.

I once dropped my mobile in the toilet (opppss) and the screen blacked out. What I did is take the battery off and dry with hairdryer then turn it on.... and it works !

    good luck

  2. It might! Probably something wrong with it now though.

You MUST let it dry completely before plugging it in or trying to turn it on again. Leave it for several days in a warm place before even trying again, or you will break it more.

  3. No chance

You can try, but if you start to smell burnt plastic, it's time to run

  4. Dont panic ! Just relax . Once I  dropped TV remote control into a bucket full of water. Never turn it on if it is wet otherwise you will risk damaging  the circuit. I let it dry completely for a couple of days and it works

    BEST OF LUCK

  5. It'll probably work, my laptop was outside in the rain, just leave it by the window, and wait for everything to dry, in a couple of days it'll probably turn on.

  6. I gave a thumbs up to both Mr Pump and to Virtue because they're correct.  When you drop an electronic device into water, NEVER turn it on until it's had a full day or more to dry out.  It still may never work again, but trying immediately is most likely to result in permanent failure.

Anything with an LCD display, though, has nothing to do with electronic failure, but with water getting into the crystals.  Maybe the display is fairly water-tight, or maybe the water will evaporate, but often once water gets into the display, it never comes out.
