Portable games and applications?

i have in the past had some application and game files that was just one file, double click it and it plays there was no installation and no extra files just a simple file that i could move around on flash drives sd cards computer to computer and never have anything more than just the one file, i just need to know what those files are and where maybe i can get them

Well you can goto http://www.portableapps.com where you can download their protable applications. However, other people make portable software all the time. Sometimes they are more than one file but the software is not embedded into windows and thus is able to be moved from PC to PC without the need for installation. Hi friend

Those were simple applications and games that were only exe files

you can find such exe files when u search them in c or other past level programming.

Y we have installation procedures are they have been created as individual modules and they must be connected in the sense to be a useful application.

Nowadays these type of programs were not available.
