When the message appears at the top of the Portfolio I click on "Update your portfolio". I get : "No changes have been applied to your portfolio. Back to Portfolio "

How do I get rid of the message? Thanks

  1. I hate that.  Yahoo! seems to be getting worse at updating stuff.

If you've already tried refreshing your page (F5) and/or rebooting and are still having trouble, you might need to report this directly to Y!Finance.

Here's how to get to a page to report your problem directly to Yahoo!

In Yahoo!Finance, at the top right of the page, there's a help link. Click on that to get your here

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Then click on one of the links on the left like quote basics. Here's that page:

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Finally, at the bottom is the contact customer care button. Yes, it's convoluted, but that's one way to get there!

Oh, or just click here (if it works). (hard for me to test if it works since I clicked through to get there)

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/finance...

Once you get there and ask your question, they're pretty good at getting back to you, but you may have to ask/answer back and forth a couple of times.

    Hope that helps!

  2. If you want to get rid of the alert, go to finance, my portfolios, and the portfolio you want to change. Below the box, with your listed stocks, look for, set alerts. Then, click on the, my alerts, tab. From there you can edit, or delete alerts. Hope this helps.
