Portland Trail Blazers down Miami Heat 92-90; LeBron James' 20-point streak snapped: NBA Recap
Wesley Matthews nailed two from downtown in the closing moments of the game to lift Portland Trail Blazers to a come from behind victory here at the Rose Garden on Thursday night. Mario Chalmers missed a three point attempt at
the buzzer as Heat lost 90-92.
LeBron James streak of crossing the 20 point mark in 54 games came to an end tonight as he was held to 15 points in 6 of 16 shooting from the floor.
LaMarcus Aldridge had a monstrous game; he finished off with 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Blazers. Nicolas Batum had 28 points in 8 of 15 shooting from the floor while rookie of the month in the Western Conference ‘Damian
Lillard’ had 10 points and 8 assists in the winning cause.

Chris Bosh took over for the Heat as he led all scorers on the night with 29 points while Dwyane Wade finished off with 18 points.
“We did everything we could, and they made big shots at the end. We gave ourselves a chance to win and we had it, but they took it from us at the end." Wade said.
Heat were in front for most of the game but the Trail Blazers rallied back late in to sneak in a win. Miami got off to a good start to the game but Portlant fought back as Lillard nailed two back to back three pointers to tie the
score on 18 later in the first period. James connected one from downtown to put the Heat up 3 by the end of the period.
Heat started pulling ahead in the second period and a James driving layup pushed their lead to 39-27 midway around the quarter. Miami kept on pulling ahead and were enjoying a comfortable 52-39 lead at halftime.
Heat stayed ahead in the third period as well and were up 68-63 by the end of third period. Blazers came back late in the fourth period to take the lead on 91-90 after two shots from behind the arc with less than 27 seconds to
go. Heat tried desperately for a winner at the buzzer but the Portland hanged on for a 92-90 win eventually.
