  1. My suggestion is sears.  They tend to have the brightest studio.  Does she have specific times of the day that she is worse?  My son was fine in the mornings, but at about 3 pm - watch out.  If so, make the appointment during her good times.  Maybe visit the studio the day before so it isn't completely new.  And arrive a 1/2 hour early or earlier and just spend some time there.  One of the ladies turned a light on in one of the studios that wasn't being used so my son could get used to it before it was time to take the pictures.

  2. My son was colic as well and I scheduled on with JCPenney and made sure I did it in the afternoon.  Usually around this time he was just waking up from a nap and very well fed.  I worked out perfect to because his full self fell asleep on the way there so they were able to get some precious sleep shots and then as he slowly woke up they got some more while he was trying to figure out where he was.  I hope that everything for you works out great.  Good luck.

  3. we use Picture People the sitting is free they take a bunch of shots and you only buy what you want. They are more expensive but I think worth it. plus if you go to their website you can usually print out  a coupon and take that in you won't have to buy anything if you don't want to just get the free one with the coupon.  its a good way to check them out  and see if you like the people that work at your local shop
