  1. germany_ dortmund.

    I live in Germany....

  2. Depends on which language you want to learn/ improve on. Also depends on what type of culture you want to intergrate in. I did Erasmus in France and had to choose from 4 different locations. My factors for decision where based on

    1. cost of living in the are

    2. distance from the UK, I didn't want to be too far at the time

    3. number of places, so that I could remain with my 2 friends

    4. what the town had to offer in terms of entertainment, sightseeing, shopping etc

You may have different ideas for your checklist but its best to concentrate on the place you will be going and then create your own must haves and what you dont want then contact your university to see if you can get in touch with former Erasmus students and have feedback from them to have a little idea.

Really and truly your Erasmus experience depends on you. If you are an outgoing person (or aim to be) you will get the most out of Erasmus. Getting out meeting new people of all nationalities and not just sticking with English speakers, will ensure you have the best time.

I've been to Greece and it was fantastic, haven't been to the other 2 countries. I guess it depends on the actual town and what you want out of it!

I had an amazing year, and kept friends with some of the French people I met even 5 years later!

    Have a great time!
