Portugal or Netherlands. which would you rather visit and why??

I am going on vacation to europe and I plan on going to the netherlands but if I do then I won't be able to visit portugal!! what would you do?

Only you can decide which is better for you.

I live in the Netherlands and love it, I have never been in Portugal.

For me, I would go to Portugal given the choice.

You do not write what kind of vacation you are thinking about, if you are the beach and party kind of person, you will find Portugal giving you more options, the weather in the Netherlands unpredictable and sunbathing on the beach only nice on a rare summer day.

On the other hand, if you come for city type entertainment, most of the Netherlands is city or within easy reach of one, so you can always find that. Portugal may have as much city entertainment, but in a much bigger country.

And why not do both but cut out an other part of your trip?

(I like to go for third options when only given two.)

Well, since i live in the Netherlands, i`d say Portugal.

Why? Because i haven`t been there yet.
