Question:

Portuguese phrases - spelt phonetically as well as correctly, please!?

I'm going to the Algarve in Portugal in a few weeks and would really like to pick up some of the basics of the language to help me out while I'm out there, as well as to avoid alienating the locals!

Any common phrases for use in hotels, restaurants, shops and general greetings would be great, thanks.

Also, please could I have them in the English form, the Portuguese spelling and then sounding out the Portuguese translation phonetically so I know I am using the correct pronunciation.

Many, many thanks! :)
