Question:

Posh restaurants in London?

Anybody able to recommend any posh restaurants in the West End area (English/Italian)? Doesn't matter if they're pricey, just as long as the food and service is spot on.

Cheers.

  1. Try Langan's Brasserie in Mayfair, good decent food and not terribly expensive.  I would try Simpson's on the Strand as well the steaks are legendary for good reason.  San Frediano on the Fulham Road is good posh Italian and is also not very expensive.  If you want a real treat rather than your run of the mill good restaurant meal then the Savoy Bar and Grill or Claridges are good, if you can avoid the Ivy, over priced and overrated.

  2. mcdonalds is very good. There chicken nuggets are lovely

  3. THE RITZ

  4. Tidy Dolls,  Mayfair just round corner from the HILTON.
