Question:

Posing for an art class?

I need a job. The best paying offer I have by far is to model (mostly nude) for an art class. I'd like to do it but I'm definitely nervous.

I was wondering if anybody had tried it or knew what it would be like. I don't know anybody who has, so I don't know if it's awkward/embarrassing or what.

Thanks.

  1. obviously for many people it is embarassing, but if you think you could do it, then you'll find it is a professional atmosphere, easy work, and you get used to it pretty quickly.  Like showering in a locker room -- it becomes natural.

  2. I did a lot of this.

It is a bit embarassing at first, but remember - no one is there to look at you as an object of desire. You could be an old lady, a huge fat man, etc. It's not exactly flattering, but there it is.

The best way to go about it is to get behind the screen, get your robe on and get onto the modeling stand.

Drop your robe, strike a pose and DON'T LOOK AT ANYONE. After that, all you have to do is concentrate on being still.

Sooner than you think, it will be no big deal - at all!

    Good luck!
