  1. full back ...

  2. leave the kicking to the flyhalf and the fullback. if you can hit, then run with the centres. and if you wanna dust it up and get in the rucks, then good for you.

  3. full back sounds good :)

  4. You've got a fairly lenient coach there mate haha...

You sound like you'd be a good inside back, either at Inside or Outside Centre. How's your acceleration? If you can spot a gap and change tack quickly, and learn to kick with both feet, you'd be a superb Five-Eigth.

Ultimately it's up to you, wherever you think you'll enjoy your rugby most.

  5. you sound like you could make a good outside centre or fullback..wing would be an alternative but you won't be able to utilise all your attributes...flanker would be another option but i doubt your coach would want to confine you in the fowards..your best bet would be fullback and outside centre..plus your boot and your pace will help adapt quicker to these positions..good luck

  6. for speed alone you should play in the backs...

    and for kick and tackle....

    i would suggest inside centre

  7. considerin you can tackle hard and you can kick maybe you should try full back, you have some speed so just ask and see wat he says

  8. You could play Number 8 or centre. All your skills are useful for those positions (except rucking, if you play centre). I can play both positions well and play semi-pro rugby. Apparently', the only thing keeping me in semi-pro rugby is my versatility. I run, pass, tackle, kick, ruck, occasionally kick goals yet I always get benched.

Remember, don't be like me and stick to 1-2 positions. I've played flanker, number 8, centre, scrum/fly half and fullback in amateur rugby. I may play a lot of positions but coaches only care if you can play 1-2 positions very well.

If you were wondering about my club, it's King Country. There's often more players at the match than supporters though. They haven't been popular since they stopped playing in the NPC (New Zealand's top tier Rugby Union league) roughly 11 years ago.

  9. full back

  10. A quick, ball-playing flanker with a decent kicking game would be a walk up start to almost any rugby team.

  11. you sound like a good fullback or inside centre.
