Question:

Position of cervix in relation to time of the month?

I read that the cervix is lower and softer during ovulation, which occurs roughly 14 days after the first day of the cycle. A few days ago I realised that my cervix was low, but I was probably on the 27th day of my 30 day cycle. So after ovulation does the cervix stay low, and then go back up after my period?

  1. It goes up and down, mine plays hide and seek actually (I used to use fertility awareness method that relied partly on watching cervix position).

It does down for both ovulation and menstruation - basically think of it as opening up, to let in s***n or out menstrual material - cervix opens means cervix low and soft.
